SUPERNATURAL LIVING 2 by Pastor Sam Adeyemi

Romans 8:14-16

Man has a human nature and a spiritual nature. There are two beings which propagate their nature from the realm of the spirit – God and Satan. God created Satan as an angel but he got corrupted and also corrupted man. Satan then established his nature in man while the nature of God in man died but God had made the provision for redemption possible through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus. For us as human beings, getting God’s nature gives us the opportunity to escape Satan’s nature which is the driving force for sin in our lives. We were designed to live supernaturally. There is no neutral point for any human being; you either have God’s nature or Satan’s nature. A change of status occurs when you get God’s nature in you. (John 3:3-6; 1 John 5:4) We refer to this change as the new birth or being born again and it is man’s greatest avenue for transformation. When we accept forgiveness through the Lord Jesus Christ, the nature of sin is destroyed from us and God’s nature comes into us. That’s why Jesus says we are born again, born anew or born from above (2Corinthians 5:17). This is our foundation.
We were designed to be influenced from the spiritual realm; either positively or negatively (Job 32:8). When we are born anew, we inherit the nature of God and are raised to God’s dimension. When a human being gives birth, the child is already classified as a human being and not an animal. Same thing applies when God births a child, that child is not in the same class as other human beings but rather in the class of God. In John 10:30 – 31, Jesus said, “I am My Father are one” which prompted the Jews to want to stone Him because He referred to God as His Father. He then referred them to Psalm 82:5 where it was recorded that God had called human beings His sons. When you are born by God, you are born into God’s class.
You need to build your life on this God-nature. You need to explore the potentials and the capabilities of this new nature. Therefore, grow the nature of God in you into maturity through desiring the Word (1Peter 2:2). The need for spiritual growth is further emphasized in Galatians 4: 1-2. You cannot enjoy the benefits of your new status without maturity. There are some things you are praying for which you cannot get yet until you become more mature. God’s announcement after Jesus’ baptism at the River Jordan was a public declaration of Jesus becoming a Son. It signified a definite passage from training to maturity. Adoption in the Bible and in the Jewish culture is a public ceremony (bar mitzvah) during which the father presents his son publicly after he has properly trained him to the point where the son can make sound decisions just like the father. Discipline and ability to delay gratification are some of the signs of maturity (1 Corinthians 13: 11). The world is waiting for God’s mature sons in government, business, families and in all spheres (Romans 8: 18-19).

I COMMIT TO DO YOUR WORD by Pastor Sam Adeyemi

 Today's Text:  Genesis 22: 1-18
The Christian relationship is based on a blood covenant which is the highest form of covenants. A covenant is an agreement or a contract. In a blood covenant, your life is mixed with the life of the other person. (Leviticus 17:11) Blessing, healing, protecting and prospering us is God’s part of the covenant; our own part is to do His word. God will always do His own part. We need to commit to do God’s word because we are absolutely certain that every promise God has made to us this year will be fulfilled.

KNOWING OUR NEEDS by Smith Wigglesworth

If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.
--Mark 5:28
Scripture reading: Mark 5:25-6:6 ( Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” 29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” 31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ 32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”)

PROPHETIC BLESSINGS FOR THE YEAR by Pastor Sam Adeyemi

Hosea 12:13 “And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved”.
God calls and anoints certain individuals for the sake of people’s destinies; for the preservation of their destinies. It was by a prophet that God brought Israel out of Egypt, out of slavery, poverty and oppression.
Israel had been in slavery for generations until God called one person – Moses – and put His word in his mouth and put His power on his life for the deliverance of a whole nation. Jesus acknowledged that the power and anointing upon His life was for the sake of the people (Luke 4: 18-19The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord).
When God calls a person and puts His grace upon the person’s life, it is not for the sake of that particular individual; rather it is for the profit of all (1 Corinthians 12:7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other NLT).

CALLED TO PREACH

Many years back, I felt a nudge in my spirit that it was time to focus on the assignment Jesus gave me and every Believer before He parted this world. Matt 28: 19 - 20  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
It took so many years of struggling to finally succumb to the call and I am glad I did. Although I do not feel like I am called to preach on the stage, I feel very blessed to share with people messages that I have heard and it has touched me and change my life.
Every other time, I will share my own experiences and teachings as it comes from the Holy Spirit, but most time, I will share messages from anointed men of God that I know will make a shift in you.
I pray that as join me in the fellowship of His word by reading, listening or watching my posts, you become the Change your environment needs.
God bless you.
